The Spotsylvania County Lacrosse Club "Summer Lacrosse Academy" is a 6 week intensive training camp. This camp will be offered once a week with the first session beginning on July 14th, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm. The remaining sessions will be held on the following dates: July 21st, July 29th, August 1st, & August 4th.
The Spotsylvania County Lacrosse Club coaches have deemed this a pay as you go training academy. Each session will cost $10.00 and you can attend as few or as many sessions as your summer schedule allows.
The concept of this camp is to focus on individual skills and team specific position play. Each guest coach will take over a weekly training session and bring their own high caliber of lacrosse expertise to Spotsylvania. In addition, our own Spotsylvania Lacrosse Club coaching staff will be assisting and leading the remaining training sessions.

4:00pm to 6:00pm U-9 to first year U-15 players
6:30pm to 8:30pm U-15 players to high school players
John Daugherty & Chris Scranton from Dominion Lacrosse -- Date: July 29th 6-8pm
Kurt Glaeser from The University of Mary Washington-- Date: August 1st 6-8pm
Dave Baggetta from Chantilly High School -- Date: August 4th 6-8pm
For you current players this is a great opportunity to bring a friend and help grow our numbers. Some extra gear will be provided for new players and we will be raffling off a brand new youth helmet. Other surprises and give-aways will be announced at each session.
